Bowl tickets will cost students a bundle
i icKeis are avaiiaoie to students
starting today but will not be
offered at a discount rate
Jesse Thomas
Sports Reporter
Tickets for the Seattle Bowl be
tween Oregon and Wake Forest will
not be offered at a discount for stu
dents, according to Oregon officials.
“It’s typically not the case because
of our quota obligations,” Oregon
Athletic Director Bill Moos said
about student discounts for tickets.
Tickets for the game cost $53 each

Those tickets also have a #10 ship
ping fee assessed to each order. Stu
dents can still purchase tickets,
through Tlcketmaster, for other seats
around the stadium. Those ticket
prices start at $18.
“We are really excited, because
this allows a great many of our fans
to come and support us, and I think
we have a following in the Pacific
Northwest,” Oregon head coach
Mike Bellotti said.
Tickets will go on sale at 9 a.m.
today at the south ticket building
behind Autzen Stadium as well as
by phone, according to Oregon Se
nior Associate Athletic Director
Dave Heeke.
“I would guess that we could have
anywhere from 15,000 to 20,000 fans
and maybe even more,” Moos said.
Parking is provided for ticket pur
chasers in the east parking lot at
Autzen Stadium. No tickets will be
sold from the Casanova Center Ticket
Office today because basketball tick
ets are being sold at that location.
Starting Tuesday, though, Seattle
Bowl tickets will be offered at the
Casanova Center if they’re still avail
able. Telephone orders will be ac
cepted with a Visa or Mastercard by
calling (541) 346-3361 or (800)
WEB-FOOT.
Seahawks Stadium has a total of
67,000 seats, and the ones being
made available to Oregon fans are lo
cated in the 300-level sections along
the sidelines of the stadium. Moos
said that he is trying to negotiate
with Seattle Bowl officials for the lo
cation of the tickets.
“Our obligation is 12,500 tickets,
and it looks like we are going to be
able to have very good seat locations
for our fans,” Moos said.
The #18 seats are located in the
endzone at Seahawks Stadium, and
don’t have as good visibility as the
other student seats.
Other tickets will become avail
able to the general public in all other
locations throughout the stadium to
day, as well. Those prices range from
$42 along the endzone to $94 at the
50-yard line.
Individual tickets can be pur
chased by calling (206) 628-0888, or
at the Seahawks Stadium Northwest
Ticket Office.
