Ducks returned to practice Monday
not knowing who or what they’re
preparing for.
“I don’t care who we play, I’m just
looking forward to getting back to
practice and preparing for another
team,” Oregon quarterback Jason
Fife said.
Three Ducks named

Junior tailback Onterrio Smith,
who rushed for 1,079 yards this sea
son despite missing three of the final
four games with a knee injury, was
named by coaches to the All Pac-10

kicker Jared Siegel were also named

All business for Fife
Fife made a two-decade leap over
the Thanksgiving break. The junior
quarterback, who sported a mullet
hairstyle — “business on top, party
in the back” — under his helmet
during the season, reversed his ’80s
style and trimmed his hair.
“I just thought the mullet stops
being cute when your performance
level goes down,” Fife said.

challenge,” Kent said. “I hope
(the Ducks) learned that lesson
last year.”
The Pilots, who finished 6-24
overall last season, are led by guard
Casey Frandsen’s 19 points per
game this year. Guard Adam
Quick, who now averages 11
points and 5.3 assists, hit a game
tying three-pointer with 12 sec
onds remaining last season.
“We haven’t forgotten,” Jackson
said.
