wretched. You’ll usually hear both in
any given night. There is an open
mic night for musicians from 9 p.m.
to midnight Fridays. As with the po
etry open mic, there are mediocre
performances, but also numerous
three times in the past, the last time
in 1997. However, Boyce said fans
keep coming back.
“It’s something that’s been an au
dience favorite over the years,” she
said. “People really want to see it.”
Gannan agrees. “It transcends
time,” he said.
Performances take place at 8
p.m. Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sun
day. Tickets are available through
the Hult Center’s ticket office for
$18 to $55.
