Eugene heats up,
bough breaks
A fallen tree branch lies in the
middle of 13th Avenue on
Wednesday afternoon. The 20-foot
high branch broke at approximately
6 p.m. after two days of record heat
in the area.
Crews were on the scene within an
hour to clean up the site. No property
was damaged and no one was hurt,
even though the branch fell directly in
the middle of the street between the
bike racks In front of Condon and <
Gilbert Halls.
