The Special Master's Program (SMP) is a one-year Master's of Science Program designed to help students improve their credentials for medical school
application. Students in the SMP take the majority of their classes with Georgetown's first-year medical students and are thus able to demonstrate their
aptitude for medical school. Requirements for the SMP are: 3.0 undergraduate GPA, 26 total MCAT, completed pre-medical prerequisites.
The mission of Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing is to provide leadership to improve health care and advance the profession through

The OHSU Physician Assistant Program is a 26-month, full-time course of study leading to a Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree. The program
accepts 24-30 students each year. PAs are highly trained members of the health care team who practice medicine with the supervision of licensed
physicians providing patients with a wide range of services.
The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Oregon State University offers a challenging and creative atmosphere for motivated students to pursue
graduate degrees in several areas of biomedical research. The Department offers a flexible curriculum that permits students to take courses that are best
suited for their own career goals and currently offers M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Pharmacy with emphasis in: pharmacology, toxicology, pharmaceutics,

United States, TUCOM focuses on the preparation of osteopathic physicians in primary care without ignoring the need for specialties within the field.
The UO Materials Science Istitute sponsors Intemship/Master's Programs in Semiconductor Device Processing & Polymers & Coatings. Students take
courses in summer term then work at paid Internships the next academic year at companies such as Intel, Hynix, neste, Forrest Paint Co.
University of Puget Sound offers programs leading to the Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree and the Master of Occupational Therapy Degree.

Prospective graduate students apply to the Division of Cell and Molecular Biology rather than the individual programs. All enrolled students receive a
stipend of $21,000 per year. Additional money is provided to cover the cost of tuition, health insurance and student service fees. Upon admission,
students spend the first year participating in a core curriculum and a series of laboratory research rotations. These activities provide students the
opportunity to explore the following eight areas of study before selecting a program: Biological Chemistry, Cell Regulation, Genetics and Development,
Immunology, Integrative Biology, Molecular Biophysics, Molecular Microbiology, and Neuroscience.
