WFR Recertification Course

Don 7 let your WFR certification lapse! The River House
Outdoor Program is hosting a recertification class for
Wilderness First Responder card holders. This course
saves you time and money; compare the 3-day recertifi
cation cost of $195 against the 10-day WFR Course cost
of $495. WFR cards last just 2 years, so check your date
and call Jen Murray at the River House to sign-up. The
course is open to all WFR card holders even if your card
has not expired.

Local Club Focus
New UO Rock Climbing Ciubi
The Outdoor Program is excited to welcome the UO Club Sports Climbing Club to campus. The
brand new club is designed to gather together people of all skill levels for sport climbing, mountain
eering, ice climbing and bouldering. The Climbing Club hopes to organize safety clinics to help
seasoned members maintain skills and help newcomers build their skills. Coordinator Ben Johnson
also hopes to organize climbing outings, social gatherings and intercollegiate competitions. For
