Raku Firing

This special production & firing class is for
students with at least one term of ceramics
experience .We will produce pottery in the first
session, bisque fire it, and then use an outdoor
Raku kiln for firing your work in the second
session. Clay, (10 lbs. recycled), glazes and

Continuing Throwing

Intermediate and advanced students can
increase their proficiency on the potter's wheel
with lots of individual instruction and class
room demonstrations. Emphasis will be on
centering, pulling, and shaping. Lids, handles,
spouts, and simple assembly will also be cov

Ceramic Fountains

Make your own small table fountain out of clay.
Using simple hand building techniques we will
construct a form to use with an electric water
pump. Glazing and assembly will also be
covered. Clay (25lbs.) and glazes provided.

(available for purchase at the Craft Center).
