ism. Positions available include: Re
porter, Copy Editor, Associate Ed
itor, and Columnist. We prefer ap
plicants who have taken at least a
basic reporting class, or who have
outside reporting experience, but
people from all' majors are encour
aged to apply. We are also always
looking for freelancers interested in
getting their first newspaper experi

must be enrolled in classes at the
University and be available to work
about 25 hours a week through the
end of the school year, excluding

Essential Functions: Extensive
stair climbing, walking, prolonged
lifting, bending,* reaching, ladder
climbing, use of hand tools and pow
er tools and painting equipment.
Duties: Performance of minor car
pentry and maintenance tasks and/
or painting of residence hall rooms.
Age Requirements: Maintenance
position applicants must be at least
18 years of age. Painter position ap

age.
Job Requirements: Applicant must
be enrolled in an accredited educa
tional institution or provide docu
mentation of other student status.
College students must provide proof
of credit hours enrolled, and be en
rolled for a minimum of 8 credit
hours and Graduate Students a min
imum of 3 credit hours. Preference
is given to University of Oregon stu
dents. Knowledge of hand and pow
er tools and/ or painting equipment,
and be available for work full time
throughout the summer. Experience
will be given consideration. Applica

Agate St.) between 8:00 a.m. and
