preme Court, in its indefensible
decision in Bush v Gore, installed
an illegitimate president by stop
ping a legal handcount scheduled
to include both under and over
votes. We mourn this usurping of
the right of American citizens to
choose their president. This illegal
action initiated the slide into the
current assault on our civil liberties
and the continuing infringement of
the Bill of Rights.

and to renew our commitment as
