The University of Oregon Men’s
Basketball program is seeking two
undergraduate students interested in
working with the basketball team for
the 2001-2002 season. The selected
candidates will be expected to assist
the staff on a daily basis with both
office and court responsibilities. Ma
jor responsibilities include, but are
not limited to, daily set-up and take
down of practice equipment, locker
room upkeep, team travel prepara
tion, assisting with on-campus re
cruiting, and daily office tasks. The
chosen candidates must demon
strate the ability to complete a di
verse variety of tasks and make a
substantial time commitment to the
position. Chosen candidates will be
expected to dedicate their time from
1:00pm-6:00pm daily during the sea
son running October 13-April 1. Ad
ditionally, substantial time commit
ment will be required at other times
during the school year. Preferred
qualifications include a background
in collegiate basketball, strong com
munication and computer skills, and
a commitment to the program's suc
