instruction will offer the beginning student a
clear foundation on wheel throwing. Glazing

Intermediate and advanced students can in
crease their proficiency on the potter's wheel
with lots of individual instruction and class
room demonstrations. Emphasis will be on
centering, pulling, and shaping. Lids, handles,
spouts, and simple assembly will also be

students with at least one term of ceramics
experience We will produce pottery in the
first session, bisque fire it, and then use an
outdoor Raku kiln for firing your work in the

Explore your imagination through clay in this
class intended for beginning to advanced
students. Learn methods of clay construction
such as coil, slab building, and carving. We
will focus on the vessel form, to make lovely

Mind blowing glaze application techniques
will be the focus of this two day workshop. We
will cover wax resisting, latex resisting, over
lapping glazes, and trailing, as well as the use
of over and underglaze oxides.

Day 2 - Glazing (bring 4-5 bisqued pieces)

Do you have sheep, or know someone
who does? Well, if not, we have wool for
you. Start with a lesson on the properties
of wool including types, cleaning and
carding. You'll then learn to spin yarn
using natural & synthetic dyed wool 8<
other fibers. We'll start on a traditional
drop spindle, 8< then move to the spinning
