The Women's Center provides a supportive working and educational
environment for women on the UO campus. The center offers information and
support services and fosters an atmosphere where students, staff and faculty
can engage in discussions and activities that empower women, both
individually and as a community.
Services include: resource and referral, advocacy, support groups, community
outreach and co-sponsoring events with other student organizations.
The Women's Center also publishes The Siren, a bi-monthly newsletter, and
sponsors a number of annual events, including the Women's Health
Symposium, the Take Back the Night March and the Women of Color
Conference.

associated students of the university of Oregon
The Associated Students of the University of Oregon (ASUO) is the recognized
representative organization of students at the UO. Its network of agencies,
activities and programs serves student needs and interests. Student incidental
fees fund the ASUO and every student on the UO campus is a member.
With over 150 student-run groups, the ASUO offers students many
opportunities to plan and direct their own programs, to become involved in
every aspect of university life and to influence the decisions that affect the
quality of education and student life at the University of Oregon.
The ASUO office is located on the ground floor of the EMU.

asuo multicultural center
The Multicultural Center is a place for students, faculty and staff to meet and
discuss issues of race and cultural pluralism at the UO. The center was created
to promote a more tolerant and comfortable environment for everyone at the
UO and is committed to educating others about cultural and ethnic diversity.
The center co-sponsors events with other student organizations that highlight
various cultures and its library contains books and videos on multicultural
issues.
