What are you doing for the next four years? If you don’t know, you
may wind up doing more of the same thing. Greek Life at the
University of Oregon marks a century of excellence this year,
carrying on the traditions and values upon which we were founded.
Forget what you think you know. Fraternities and sororities offer
more than you think. Greek Life will help complete your college
experience and will provide you a life lesson you can’t learn in a
classroom, residence hall, or an apartment. Our focus lies in lifelong
friendships, brotherhood, sisterhood, community service, campus
involvement, sports, academics, social life, and leadership.

Greeks represent 13% of campus or about 1700 students.
Of 129 undergraduate student groups, Greek students
participate in 109. Of the 109 organizations Greek
students are involved in, 86% of them have Greek
representation on their executive governing boards.
This results in 67% of 129 student groups having Greek
leaders.
