On the season, Washington has

son and Pac-10 foe California.
Leading the Husky attack are
two freshmen phenoms, both na
tionally ranked. Matt Hanlin, a
top British player, is ranked 93rd.
Ali Strasberg is tied for the No. 86

26 in doubles competition.
The Intercollegiate Tennis As
sociation polls have been incon
sistent in their ranking of Oregon
players. After being snubbed by
the polls for weeks, Carter,
Schneiter and Eisinga suddenly
found themselves near the top of
the polls. Then, despite winning
several matches to support their
poll spots, all three moved down
in the polls. The next polls come
out April 5.
