Hollywood Chantv aTTHE This year’s Oscar watching party raised approximately $1,200 and benefit T V4L A UUU X JJU11U County, the local divi sion of Red Cross and the Red Cross’s Mozambique flood relief fund. “It was like a big party at your friend’s house,” said Josie Basford, the Bi jou’s day manager. The Bijou, which hosts this event annually, do nates proceeds to charity. Besides ticket sales, the event also raised money by auctioning posters, banners, coffee, flowers and movie passes. “To see how willing people were to donate to these benefits — that was very nice,” Basford said.
