“It was like a big party
at your friend’s house,”
said Josie Basford, the Bi
jou’s day manager.
The Bijou, which hosts
this event annually, do
nates proceeds to charity.
Besides ticket sales, the
event also raised money
by auctioning posters,
banners, coffee, flowers
and movie passes.
“To see how willing
people were to donate to
these benefits — that was
very nice,” Basford said.
