Arizona sophomore forward Michael Dickerson scored a career-high 28 points on
Saturday and will be counted on to provide the same production against Stanford.
Men’s title
continued from page 5
No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tourna
ment. If Arizona wins, and as
suming both schools win Satur
day, they would be co-champs.
“This is definitely a big week
for us,” Olson said. “The good
news is that, despite last week
end, we have a chance to get a
share of the title. It is nice to have
the opportunity on our home
court, but we have our work cut
out for us. We are capable of get

Selection Sunday
quickly approaching
In the latest ESPN Tournament
projections, the Pac-10 was back
to having four teams represented
— thanks to the surging play of
the Bruins, who have won four
straight.
Stanford is pegged as the No. 1
seed in the West, while Arizona
is predicted to be No. 2 in the
Midwest. UCLA (8-8) roared back
onto the charts as the No. 8 seed
in the South.
And the Ducks moved up to
No. 6 seed in the South and a
first round pairing with Pepper
dine on March 17 in Nashville,
Tenn.
Should the Ducks win two
games, its opponent could very
possibly be the Tennesse Volun
teers, coached by former Oregon
coach Jerry Green.
ESPN.com will have two more
updated projections posted today
and Friday before CBS makes the
official announcement at 3:30
p.m. Sunday.
