Doyle describes his book as ’’Essays on grace, altar boys, bees, kneeling, saints, the Mass, priests, strong women, epiphanies, a wake, and the haunting thin energetic dusty figure of Jesus the Christ." He has also co -authored with his father the Christopher Award-winning Two Voices: A Father and Son Discuss Family and Faith. A booksigning will follow the reading Eugene Eoyang Thursday, February 24th 4:00 P.m. in the Gerlinger Lounge Indiana University Professor of Comparative Literature and East Asian Languages, Eugene Eoyang will be on campus to speak about the issues he presents in his book Coat of Many Colors, Reflections on Diversity by a Minority of One. In this lively and unconven tional critique, Eoyang argues for a new understanding of what is foreign in America-with implications for racial categories, the status of the English language, the treatment of immigrants, and the structure of higher education.
