Oct. 2, the Trojans travel to Tuc
son, Ariz., on Oct. 9 to take on the
Wildcats, then face Notre Dame on
the road Oct. 16.
But things should ease up for
USC after Notre Dame as the Tro
jans return home to play Stanford,

“I’ve said all along—our ability
as a football team will be deter
mined by our ability to travel and
play on the road,” Hackett said. “If
we can travel and play effectively
on the road, then we have the
chance to be a very good football
team.”
