Slaying suspects
sought in Idaho
SPOKANE, Wash.— Two neo
Nazi Skinheads sought in the
bludgeoning death of an associate
in Pennsylvania may have fled to
the Northwest home of the white
supremacist Aryan Nations sect, a
detective says.
Paul Minton, 23, and Keith
James Pearce Jr., 21, told others
they intended to flee to the West,
Morristown, Pa., police Detective
George DiPetrillo said Wednes
day.
“They indicated they wanted to
go to Idaho to the Aryan Nations
compound,” DiPetrillo said. The
Aryan Nations has headquarters
near Coeur d’Alene in northern
Idaho, about 40 miles east of
Spokane.
The FBI has issued unlawful
flight warrants for both men, who
are charged in Montgomery Coun
ty, Pa., with the Labor Day beating
death of another skinhead.
Yohann Lee, 18, also known as
Adolf Metzger, died after being
struck in the head with a blunt ob
ject in an apartment in Norris
town, 20 miles northwest of
Philadelphia, DiPetrillo said.
The victim and the two men
shared an interest in white su
premacy groups, including the
Aryan Nations and the Ku Klux
Klan, DiPetrillo said.
The two men were last seen
leaving the apartment the morn
ing of Sept. 6 and apparently
hitchhiked or took a bus out of the
area.
FBI spokeswoman Linda Vizi
in Philadelphia said Minton is 6
foot-1 and weighs 250 pounds. He
has a multicolored tattoo around
his neck that says “Respect.”
Pearce is 6-foot-2 and 180
pounds, with numerous racist tat
toos on his arms and shoulders.
One says: “Crucified skinhead.”
