Used Equipment Board Goes On-Line!! '*
Check out the cool new addition to the O.P. Web Page: the electronic Used Equipment Board! Folks can post their ad in several categories and the
program automatically hotlinks the seller's email address. Moments after installation, OP web surfers were already posting ads! After an item has sold,
the page allows folks to remove their own ad; otherwise ads are automatically deleted after one month. Individual sellers only please! Also give us
feedback about the used equipment board and input about what other kinds of information would be useful to have on the 0 P web page

O.P. Represents Self-propelled Boaters on Waldo Lake
The Outdoor Program has been asked by the Willamette National Forest to represent the interests
of sea kayakers and canoeists on the Waldo Lake Management Plan Advisory Group. The group is made
of a variety of interest groups and a multi-disciplined team of Forest Service employees. The goal is to
devise a new management plan for the Waldo Lake basin. The plan will cover issues such as recreation,
water quality, fire management, education, travel and access. A particularly important issue that will
also be addressed will be whether to continue to allow the use of motorized boats on one of the
undisputed purest bodies of water on the planet. The Outdoor Program will advocate to protect water
quality and emphasize recreation alternatives that fit the pristine wilderness character of the basin.
Please call Dan at 346-0636 if you have questions, input or concerns about the future of Waldo Lake.
