Oregon Daily Emerald
For two weeks now Oregon fans have
been lamenting, and Oregon State
fans celebrating, the Beavers’ over
time Civil War victory that seemed to damn
the Ducks to a minor postseason bowl bar
ring a major miracle.
As it turns out, Oregon’s first loss in five
games against the Beavers didn’t matter.
With former-No. 2 UCLA having lost to
Miami (Fla.) on Saturday, No. 21 Oregon
will play the unranked Colorado Buffaloes
at the Aloha Bowl in Honolulu on Dec. 25
at 12:30 p.m. The game will be the first in a
doubleheader that also features Washing
ton and No. 16 Air Force.
