ACCOUNTING MAJORS
Exciting career opportunity in beautiful, sunny Central Oregon for an
Accountant. This unique position offers an opportunity to gain experience and
learn job skills that could take several years at other firms.
Hooker Creek Ranch began as a horse operation, and is still in the business of
raising and training Quarter Horses. In recent years, we have entered the
aggregate business, opening the Moon Quarry in 1993 and acquiring O’Neil
Sand and Gravel in 1996. In 1998 we purchased Bend Ready Mix, a market
leader in the ready mixed concrete business. This has given us a significant
presence in Deschutes County and we have plans for continued aggressive
growth.
We are seeking a fall ‘98 or recent graduate who is an energetic team player and
can manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The successful candidate must have
a strong understanding of accounting principles and concepts and the ability to
prepare financial statements; job cost, equipment cost, sales analysis, and other
management reports. Processing a large volume of data on a daily basis is also
