shutout for Air Force.

As Grizzi had seemingly stepped up his level of
play for the season’s biggest games, so too had the en
tire Falcons’ defense.
In the season’s final game, with their ranking and
bowl aspirations on the line, Air Force held
Wyoming’s potent offense to just three points, well
below its season average. The victory gave the Fal
cons their 10th win this season — their highest win
total since 1985.
“We have great team chemistry and great charac
ter,” Peterson said. “It’s hard to explain. We’re not as
talented as some teams in the past, but we’ve played
better and won more football games.
“It starts with attitude. We expect to make things
happen. It’s a big part of our success. ”
This attitude has carried over to the special teams.

is just two shy of the career record. Curry, a second
team All-WAC defensive back, was the first Falcon
to score three touchdowns on defense and special
teams since All-American Scott Thomas in 1985.
“This is one of the best teams they’ve had in recent
years,” Brigham Young quarterbacks coach Robby
Bosco said. “What's most impressive about the team
is that they never give up. A lot of times you can’t look
at the size of the team because of the way they fight. ”
A fight Oregon coaches should expect Air Force to
bring to the Las Vegas Bowl Dec. 20.
