There will be two teams at Autzen Stadium on Sat
urday afternoon. One football team will be playing
for a trip to a bowl game while also aiming for its
fourth straight winning sea
son. The other will be looking
to end its season on a positive
note while suffering through
its 27th straight losing season.
It must be Civil War time in
Oregon.
The Ducks (5-5 overall, 2-5
Pacific-10 Conference) and
Oregon State (3-7, 0-7) will
face off at 1 p.m. in Eugene in
the 101st playing of this heat
ed in-state rivalry.
‘‘One of the neat things
about the Civil War,” said
Oregon head coach Mike Bel
lotti, “is that there aren’t too
many people on the fence —
they’re either a Beaver or a
Duck. There will be a great
