a project while learning power tool use and
safety. Instruction will cover project design,
wood properties, hand and power tool use and
joinery. Allow for extra shop time and cost of

Beginning Wood-Shaker Tables
Toby Barwood
Make a timeless Shaker table while learning
woodworking skills and shop safety. Instruction
will cover the history of Shaker design prin
ciples, wood properties, joinery, plus hand and
power tool use. Choose from three projects: a
hall table, a night stand, or a very small dining
table. Allow extra shop time and $20-$70 for
materials. 19 hours of instruction.

studio desks. Wood and hardware provided.

relief using a chisel and mallet. This workshop
