Many of these are permanent absentees, mean
ing they will automatically receive a mail ballot fur
the general election as well
Some county clerks don't expect final tabula
tions until Thursday or Friday Absentee ballots
cannot be counted until after the polls close to
ensure that no one has voted twite.
