The fifth annual Fiesta Latina is a two-day celebration at Washington-Jefferson Park, on 1st and Washington Streets under the Washing! on/jefferson bridge. This year the Fiesta will fea ture the Cuarteto latino Amart cano. sponsored by the Oregon Bach Featival. Other musical groups include Latin Expression, Caliente. Banda Cobra and Bossamba All performances will be on the main stage, on the south side of the park near First and Jefferson Streets, from 4 to 11 p.m. today and from It am to 11 p.m. May 4. Cuarteto latino Americano will perform tonight from 6:30 to 8. This group of four Latinos is flying in from Mexico City to play classical Latino music at the Fiesta. Latin Expression will also play tonight from 8 to 11 follow ing Cuarteto. This ts a group of 12 performers from Seattle. Wash . whose specialty is salsa, said Angie Sifuentez. co-chair of Fiesta latina “They are quite popular throughout the Northwest."
