mother and a Chinese father.

was one of her first feminist

woman of resistance and would
not take part in the racial con

Although Flom-Ortir dis
cussed women of color and their
struggles, she said her opinions
could not extend past her own
experience*

color other than roe,"

research center in the United
States that focuses on women of
