Winter Hult events bring cheer
SHOcase Concert Series
All following events will be

On Nov. 30, Eugene pianist
Julie Bergheer, who has per
formed with the Mann Youth
Orchestra and the Orchestra Ptc
cola. will play traditional and con
temporary holiday music.
On Dec. 7. the Oregon Young
Men's Ensemble, comprised of
20 middle school and high school
students, will sing sacred and
secular concert pieces, barber
shop. pop and iarz
On Dec 14, the Tuba Ensem
ble consists of 12 musicians from
the Oregon Tuba Association,
who play tenor, bass and contra
bass tubas, and will perform holi
day classics.
On Dec. 21, Eugene Opera will
give a preview of Bi/el's Carmen,
which will open Eugene Opera's
20th anniversary season at the
Hull Center on Dec. 31.
MCA Concerts Northwest lor
the Hult Center
Trisha Yearwood will be in
Eugene for "A Celebration of
Christmas" concert on Dec. 10 at
8 p.m. Seating is still available in
the price range of $24 50- $27.
Tracy Chapman and special
guests will perform at the Soreng
Hall on Dec. 15 at 8 p.m. This
