After the Washington game, freshman kicker Joshua Smith was selected for the honor. But this award might have been a little bit sweeter for the ti-foot, 212-pound senior from I-os Angeles Imh.ause lie earned it play ing against Ins l»'st friend Collins grew up with Wildcat free safety Shawn Parnell, who went to high school in the same area as Collins and transferred to Arizona two years ago. "I'm just happy we heat them," Collins said, soon revealing that there was a little bit more to the win than that "hast time we went there and they ran the ball down our throats. (This year) was kind of a grudge match Things just went my way out there I guess I got the best of (Parnell) in that I beat him both times we faced each other."
