The Oregon women's tennis
team is headed to Palo Alto,
Calif., for its first competition of
the year at the Rolex Individual
Championships tins weekend.
Coach Wade Juriv said the
team should he stronger than
last year because of the depth,
and this match will give the
Ducks a good idea of where they
stand
"Stanford, California and
Pacific are some of the top teams
in the nation," Judy said. “This
will lie a good chance to site how
we measure up against some of
the Iwsi players in the country
The Ducks seem to he much
stronger this year with added
depth from new recruits and
some solid returning players

in by the new scholarships
awarded to the team
