Arizona State stuns Ducks with 35-24 upset victory

After accomplishing what
they weren't supposed to
accomplish all year long, the
Oregon football team lost a
game they were supposed to
win on Saturday and all but fell
out of position to repeat as
Pacific-10 Conference Cham
pions.
Oregon's t.r>-24 loss to Ari
zona State dropped the Ducks
to a fi-2 overall record and a I
2 conference record. Oregon
also dropped from No. 10 to
No. 18 in the Assoi itried Press
Top 2r> poll and from No. 12 to
No 18 in the CNN/UNA Todav
poll.

Surprisingly it was the Sun
Devils' defense that provided
some of the biggest plays, while
their potent offense, which is
also capable of making tug

improv ing on defense and he
was confident they were capable
of beating the Ducks and beating
other teams that are on their
schedule
"It's becoming difficult to run
on us." Snyder said "People
aren't fooling us on play action
passes."
Snyder was quick to give the
Ducks credit for being a good
team, but said he wasn't too sur
prised to get the win.
"We played a really good toot

team," Snyder said. “It doesn't
totally surprise me that wu did
