The group will he speaking
about the trip on Saturday from

The delegation met with rep
resentatives from Network in Sol
idaritv with the People of
Guatemala (NISAC.t 'A), a nation
al human rights organization. The
group from Eugene was organized
by the Committee in Solidarity
with the Central American Peo
ple (C.1SCAP).
While in Guatemala. the dele
gation met with 12 Guatemalan
human rights organizations and
iahor unions.
The memtiers of the group w ill
base their speech on what they
learned about the current politi
cal situation, said Trim Hissell, .i
CISCAP volunteer and regional
coordinator for NISACUA They
plan to focus attention on how
U S. policy toward Guatemala
has affected Guatemalan politics.
