    Science fiction author presents workshop

Author Phyllis Radford Karr will priuunt an
evening workshop on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p m in
the McNutt Room, at 777 Pearl St,
The topit for the writing workshop is “How to
Create Alternate Worlds in Fantasy and Science
Fiction " Karr will explore writing techniques in
fantasy and romance literature
As a fantasy Fiction writer, Karr publishes under
her pen name, Irene Radford She combines a love
for medieval history and her fast mation with the
paranormal in her writing She will also discuss
the process of creating parallel worlds in fantasy
and fiction
Karr's presentation is a part of a series of month
ly educational workshops geared to all levels of
writing and everyone is cm ournged to attend
The workshop is sponsored by the Heart of Ore
