When two of their tons shaved

neo-Nazi hate, Dennis and Bren
da Freeman did what they could
They sought counseling, insti
tutionalized their tons Finally,
they threw out the hoys' hate lit -
wrature and sold the car they used

for meetings with other skin

Five days later, they and their
youngest ton were dead hat
tered and stabbed

Dennis. 54, and Brenda. 48,
were devout, lifelong members
of the Jehovah's Witnesses They
met when Dennis came to speak
to Brenda's congregation, and
lived for a time across the street
from the local Kingdom Mall.
Initially, their sons shared
their devotion.
"Brvan was an excellent pub
lic speaker," said grandfather
Nelson Birdwell. "When he was
10. he put a lot of the adults to

heads were the right ones in the

were going to come and kill all

from human bones. Three weeks
ago David, an imposing mfoot .t,
245 pounds, had "Sieg Heil!"
etched above his eyebrows.

stabbed to death in their beds.
Brenda Freeman was found beat
en and stabbed in the basement.
