Shanahan's first pro coaching experience came
with the Hrom os He served two stints totaling sev
en seasons from 1084-87 and 1999-91, mostly as
offensive coordinator. In between. he went 8-12
ns head coach of the Los Angeles Raiders before
being fired low pines Into his se ion.
Shanahan w as fired by Reeves after the 1991 sea
son after Reeves accused him of conspiring with
John Elway to make game-plan changes.
