Blair takes second at NCAAs

Blair finished third in each of tho day's threw
events while Guthrie won tho long jump and
javelin. Guthrio finished with fl.032 points, com
pared to 5,877 for Blair.

i hampionships, Gordon Johnson finished ninth in
the second qualifying heat of the man's 1.500
meters Johnson finished in :t minutes. 50.55 mm
onds and did not qualify for Saturday's final in the
event.
