It's solid. Badmatorfingrr still went plat mum and Soundgarden ns eived a (.rummy nomination for a song that appeared on an KP. hut the band has fawn persevered to this point as a relative unknown to popular musii Superunkiun*n is reportedly supposed to change that hut it won't hike much of the work ■Soundgarden has done before. Sii/wm/ikiii ivn is generally radio unfriendly so Nirvana and Pearl Jam i an rest easy 1 hank the music gods for small favors, you won t hear this album on vour average i ommen nii station Su/wmnknown. howev er, will outsell Its predecessor I he rage lor hollapaiooza hands (such as Nine Inch Nails, loo) is still run lung high and the lust single. Spooniuan. is receiving more listens than Outshined ever d l d Hut gone are the adrenaline pumping. < rush thy neighbor |ams of "Jesus Christ Pose," "Rusty C-age" and "Drawing Flies" from Badmotorfinger Instead, most of the songs from Superunknown sound like grown-up versions uf songs from the first two Soundgarden Id’s, liltramega Ok and Louder than Love.
