Volunteers accompany c rime victims to court
arraignments and trials and can refer people to var
ious agencies such as Sexual Assault Support Ser
vices. Mart said.

informing people of new developments in their
cases and for educ ating them about the c riminal
justice system Volunteers also need to complete
paperwork for a crime victim's compensation
