A small form is filled out to keep track of what is taken and what is left The program promotes reuse of items that would otherwise he thrown away Kaplan urges those who ran to take advantage of the supplies, hut said students at large are not allowed to partici pate. Kaplan said the exchange was first thought up by management service employees that noticed a high amount of waste in offices throughout the University. Kaplan said that thanks to administrative support of recy cling efforts on campus, small programs are being created that save the University money. He was also cited for minor in possession of alcohol and for carrying less than an ounce of marijuana. • A backpack was reported stolen from the Uni versity Bookstore Feb. 5 According to police reports, a 27-year-old student left bis backpack in the down stairs book-bag area, and when he returned, it was gone. The loss amounted to SIS. • Two students reported their bicycles stolen from the 1900 block of Alder Street Feb (i. Accord ing to police reports, the bicycles were stored in the living room of their residence, unsei ured, when they were taken.
