Executives, a three-day video
bazaar in which the people who
make the shows sell them to the
people who put them on your
local TV stations.
"It's kind of a Toys R Us for
programming." Brandon Tar
tikoff said. "You walk down the
aisles and instead of seeing
games and dolls, you see shows."
Back when he was program
ming chief at NBC, Tartikoff
came to sightsee Now. as an
independent producer, he’s
pushing Last Call. It 's billed as
a late-night, half-hour, interview
talk show with the pace of a
music video

"Each program executive has
only so many slots to fill next
season." Turner said "He's here
to look at the new properties to
see how they might fit into his
schedule."
As Turner spoke, his eyes dart
ed about the lavish Multimedia
booth to make sure every
prospect who stepped up was
greeted by a salesman

series get on the air, it will la- the
viewers' turn to buy

l.y's life to his distinct advantage,
and the audicence feels it
Oftentimes critics find Stone's
work to he overtly paranoid as
well as severely propagandized,
however in Hravcn and Earth.
he deserves credit for telling a
side of the Vietnam storv that few
dare to approach.
