CORRECTION
The first paragraph of the
story on the Amazon housing
project announcement bv the
University administration
Wednesday incorrectly stated
that the l Jniversity announced
"renewed effort to complete
plans to demolish and
rebuild" the Amazon facility
That paragraph was incorrect
The paragraph should have
read:
"University officials
announced renewed efforts to
reconsider the future of the
Amazon housing complex at
a news conference Wednes
day."
The announcement did not
specify that demolition of the
complex is still considered the
stated goal
The Emerald regrets any
confusion this may have
caused.
