The following is a run-down of
the team by event:
Sprints — Jones made school
history last year when she
became the first Oregon woman
sprinter to earn an ali-Americun
certificate by toking fifth place in
the 4(K) meter sprint With Jones
anchoring. Oregon could qualify
relay teams for the NCAA meet
for the first time since 1981.
Junior Shawna Krasowski. a
transfer from Lane Community
College, and Nilka Thomas, the
400 meter Alaska prep record
holder, will add depth to the 200
and 400 meter events
