Ducks look to spoil
OSU tourney hopes
The Oregon men's basketball team hopes to close out the season
on a good note as it starts a season-ending three-game hornestand Sat
urday night at 7:00 against Oregon State
The Ducks are coming off two losses to the Arizona sc hools last
weekend and remain in the cellar of the Pacific-10 Conference with
a 2-13 record.
Oregon can rid the Beavers of any postseason hopes with a win
Oregon State has lost eight of its past 10 games, and a loss to the
Ducks will assure it a losing record, making the Beavers ineligible for
an NIT berth.
Clyde Jordan. Johnnie Reece and Andre Collier are all expected
to play for the Ducks Saturday after being briefly suspended from the
team for breaking curfew last weekend.
