doing the right thing in a song. I imagine myself
singing in front of an audience, and then to see
how proud l am or how embarrassed I would be to

imagine the live performance. It's very important
to US.
Q: Is there any way you can explain the energy
of performing to a live audience?
SADE: fit's) like a shock, a feeling of shock and
fear, and it's very electric:. anckit's very exciting
bee ause you're on the edge nil the time ... you
know that any moment it can go wrong ... so you
have to he brave ... It's like being on a diving
hoard that you know is too high, and you've* got
to jump off it. But you know it's just a little bit too
