The cost is only a $1 donation. The Pocket Playhouse is a nonprofit organization. It earns money from selling concessions at Robinson Theater. Each production is given $50 for each play "We usually spend about $40 on paint and $10 on miscellaneous props,” said Director Rebecca David. Postcards is the directing debut for David, a the ater major at the University. She had to submit the play and then go through a lottery system to be cho sen to direct the play. Postcards opens to three American women in the beach in St. Tropez, France. The women have been their for a few days but have just met one another. The play is considered contemporary and is set in 1992. The story unfolds as the audience learns about the recent experiences each of the women have had to get to where they are now. The three women are played by Sandy Vrvtlo. Jdl Petersen, and Angie Gaa par. The Pocket Playhouse used to be a 430-level the ater class but has now turned into a nonprotit student run organization. There are about 10 people involved in the production ot Postcards. The Pocket Playhouse encourages alt students to not only view its plays, but to be a part of the production as well.
