    Oregon dominates Pac-1 Os

The Oregon men's cross
country team shocked second
ranked Arizona on Saturday,
part of the sweep for the Ducks
at the Paclfic-10 Conference
Championship in Palo Alto.
Calif.
Ninth-ranked Oregon was led
by its pair of fabulous fresh
men. Karl Keska and Tracy
Hollister, who finished fourth
and eighth, respectively Keska
ran the B.OOO-meter course in a
time of 24:10, 24 seconds ahead
of Hollister.
The Ducks' next three run
ners were the keys to victory,
finishing 11th, 12th and 13th
Senior Kick Mestler crossed the
finish line at 24 SO, one second
ahead of sophomore John
Dirnoff and three seconds
ahead of junior Jason Humble.
The top five runners for each
school receive points corre
sponding to what place they
finish, and despite placing four
runners in the top 10, Arizona's
fifth runner finished 29th to
give the Ducks the victory.
