Just when it looked as if the
Oregon football team's year was
over, it rebounded to upset
pith-ranked Washington State
:i4 17 in Pullman, keeping a
glimmer of hope alive be fore
heading into the final run of the
Pacific-to Conference season
Oregon’s year has been
marked by streaks
The team opened the season
with two losses, bounced buck
to win three straight, and then
lost two more The Ducks, 4-4
overall and 2-3 in the l’ac-10,
are hoping Saturday's win will
be the start of a season-closing
four-game winning streak that
could get them a shot at post
season (day.

maining. against California and
UC1.A. and a trip to Corvallis
for the Civil War. a 7-4 record

against the Cougars is a model
