this fall's lineup of dance is
bound to excite.
Susan Marshall and Compa
ny, another "Director’s
Choice," give audiences what
they wunt and more. Cusick
says the dance troupe commu
nicates about humanity through
a bold und ulmosl athletic
dance. The company hus
toured the U.S.. Europe and Ja
pan. They can be seen at Silva
Hall Oct. 15. A special ono
hour show, which Cusick calls
a learning experience for danc
ing novices, will bo hold Oct.
14 for 55.
Later, on Nov. 21, the Hull
Center will delight audiences
with the legendary Paul Taylor
Dance Company at Silva flail.
Lead by one of the world’s
most celebrated choreogra
phers, tho dance group is now
in its 38th year and is as strong
as ever. The Ottawa Journal
suys, "an evening with the Paul
Taylor Dance Company is one
you will not readily forgot.”
On Nov. 8. a dance troupe
that follows a different drum
will visit Eugene. The 40 Afri
can dancers of Africa Oye will
perform tho dances of eight
kingdoms that range from the
most remote rain forests to the
Sudanese savannah and Nigeri

As part of the Hull Center's
"Giving Voice" series, Access
Theatre; Storm Reading will l>e
shown Nov. 20 and 21 in the
Soreng Theater the presenta
tion is well-listed as "Giving
Voice" by presenting the chal
lenges of being handicapped to
its audience in an artistic and
powerful way In the words of
actor Neil Marcus, "this piece
doesn’t focus on disability. It
focuses on celebrating life."

every Thursday at 12 15 p m
from October to May in the
Hull Confer Lobby. Lunch is
available, but audiences may
