If you were to capture this
fall's lineup at tho Hull Center
for the Performing Arts in just
one word, that word would
have to he (indefinable.
The center has booked shows
across tho entertainment spec
trum to druw even tho most
theatrically inept from their
dormitory hiding places.
Top stars this fall Include Su
san Marshall and Company and
the Alvin Ailey American
Dance Theater. And that only
scratches the surface. Comedy,
drama and top Now York thea
ter fill the lineup,
Starting with comedy, stu
dents can enjoy Reno on Oct.
10 and 11 in the smaller 500
seat Soreng Theater. Pat Cu
sick. marketing director for the
Hull Center, calls the comedi
enne a Lily Tomlin look-alike
who discusses social themes.
And Time magazine writes that
s h e "pulls, pummels and
stretches comedy into the field
of performance art."
The New York-based comedi
enne was launched into super
stardom in tho mid-1980s as on
